Choosing your blog/website niche is really a toughest part in starting when you are not aware of what to write and on what niche.It sounds odd but if you choose what you are passionate about then your chances of success increases.If you choose a niche for your blog in which you don`t have any interest although there is lot of searches on that topic then you have not even started blogging.May be you get lot of traffic initially but what after 1 or 2 years? Will you continue on that topic.I am sure you will not.

I started a blog on android jail breaking (but seriously i had no idea what it is all about and how to do it).My blog got PR 3 in just six months.But within a year I was completely bored and don`t want to continue.It was my luck that one of my friend had lots of experience in that niche and he took over the site.Phew!

Choosing personal blog is the best way to start your blogging.There is nothing wrong in choosing it as long as you can write your personal views.But it`s really difficult to monetize your personal blog for generating a handsome income (This does not mean that you can not earn,but earning will never be satisfactory for your work).But this blog will tell you what you are lacking in.If you want a platform where you can improve yourself then personal blogs are best to start with.

2.Branding Blog-

Branding include most of the blogger`s blog that we see today.Blogging Cruze is one of them.Branding blog is to blog about what you are good in , famous for.Whether it`s your profession,hobby or your business blogging for branding is a great idea to enter in the blogosphere and get a good response.

3.Blog for Profit-

It should be at number 1 but I kept it on 3rd because it`s not only creating a blog with a few ads and affiliate links.It`s not easy to make money with a blog.Lot of hard word and full determination can help you.Best way to start Blog For Profits is to find a service or product you have an interest in.Continually build up the content ,reviews to make a top blog within your niche.

My aim is not to demoralize you but this is a truth which no body reads on Internet,If you have read any post/e-book saying “Make Money in 24 hours” or  “Make Six Figure Money In A Months By Blogging” then you are befooled .These are just marketing skills and give you nothing then disappointment.

How To Find A Profitable Niche

The first thing that you have to keep in your mind is that what ever niche you choose , you love to write about it.Suppose you love to cook food and also you are good in knitting .Out of the two choose “Cooking” and run a blog as this is in trends, it can grow and be expanded into something worthwhile and profitable to your readers.

• One of the best way to find a profitable niche is to search and find what your competitors are doing in your niche community.Use Technorati Blog and search for your category (like cooking here) and see the Top Ten Blogs .Check what those blogs are doing and how they are getting lots of traffic.You can even see their style and can get key points to start up.
  Don`t worry about the traffic and readers to that blog.These blogs are well established but this would not be possible if they would not have started.I mean to say that once they were also beginners like you.Just concentrate on what they are doing as they are going to give you good competition across web.

Just work very hard initially to make a good start up.Remember one thing my article will not make you a perfect blogger.No one can teach you how to blog except one person and that is “you” yourself.Niche is really going to decide your and your blog future.So be wise and also read atleast 3 blogs more about the same topic and then decide what you have to do.My suggestion to you is to start writing articles on three or four niche for 4-5 months and see the strength of audience.
